Oh the pun, the terrible, terrible pun. It burns so! Yes, after a little time off in which to regenerate my biro wielding muscles and explore the dusty, cobweb-festooned corners of my psyche, it's time to introduce the latest biro drawing based on a most groan-worthy pun. So brace yourself and grit your teeth against the pun, because with no further ado, here's a biromash called Polyunsaturated

September 4th 2007 Today, the fourth of September was my 40th Birthday. The big FOUR-OH. Half way to octogenarianism. Twice the age I was when I left education. They say that life begins at forty. I can't wait!

A role-reversal twist on a very, very old setup for a joke, There's a Waiter in my Soup!.
On an entitrely unconected note, it's my Birthday in seven days. It's the big FOUR-OH. Oh dear. However did that happen?

Here's a new biromash. A bit odd perhaps but heh, I've never been one to stick to convention... or logic! So here's An Octopus opening a can of Zebras. As with most of my newer biro-art drawings, this new slice of strangeness is available as a print.

So I was thinking. When people want to explain to kids about how babies are made, but don't want to go into all the grisly details, they talk about the birds and the bees. It doesn't really make much sense though if you think about it. I mean, look what might actually result from such a mismatch if The Birds and the Bees really did produce offspring.

I have a recuring nightmare where this creature creeps up on me from the darkness. The shriek it emits paralyses me and I cannot move. Meet the Shrieker

July 30th 2007 I have a small pile of incomplete and abandoned biro drawings ranging from small doodles to full page drawings. I'm considering selling these drawings through eBay to free up some space in my folder. They would be the biro originals and not prints and would be sold as they are; pencil lines, smudges, warts and all. I'm interested in your opinion of this. Is it a good idea? Would you be interested in an unfinished biro-art original? Please vote in the mini-poll below.

New Biro-art drawing addedto the gallery. Benjamin Franklin, the suicidal kite flyer and all-round American clever bloke once said, "Nothing in this world is certain but Death and Taxis" ... or something like that.

Another drawing in the biro art gallery, this one bears the descriptive title of Mekon on a Spacehopper It's a suggestion by a b3tard called -D- who has been requesting this particular drawing for some time. Well there you are then -D-, happy now?

Horus Goes Skiing is a new biro drawing freshly added today. It's inspired by the ancient 8-bit Sinclair Spectrum game Horace Goes Skiing from 1983. Horus is of course an ancient Egyptian God. The sharp-eyed among you may have also noticed that I've added a link to buy a pack of brightly coloured ball-point pens up there in the right corner. I get so many emails from people asking where to get them that I decided to buy a few packs and flog them through Biro-art to make it easier for people to get hold of them.
I've priced them to include delivery worldwide so if you're interested just go ahead and buy a set and I'll get them sent out ASAP. I've only got five *SOLD OUT!* at the moment and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get more, so don't hang about!

A new biro drawing in the gallery today, this one is called Zombee For reasons that need no explanation. I've been Having a bit of a "writer's meh" at the moment with the book. It's still very much on, but I'm taking a break from it at the moment. I still aim to have it out by the end of the year though.

Entirely unrelated to the goings-on here at Biro-art, but it's quite important to me at the moment so I'm telling you anyway. I desperately need to replace my car. It's a knackered old Ford Fiesta that is very much on it's last legs (wheels?). The chances of me being able to afford another car this side of never are pretty darn remote so I've decided to try an experiment and have spent some time thinking about it and have set up This eBay auction as a little experiment to see what happens. I doubt it will come to anything but meh, its worth the try! It's worth mentioning here too that advertising space is always available at biro-art.com. Just ask me about it.
